What Voetle is
Voetle is a citizen platform for raising civic issues, voting on them, and turning collective support into petitions filed through official government grievance channels. Voetle is independent — not affiliated with any government body or political party — and cannot guarantee that any authority responds to a petition.
Your account
- One account per person, verified by phone. Don't lend it out.
- You must be 13 or older; under 18, use Voetle with a guardian's consent.
- Vote and sign only in regions where you actually live.
Content rules
The full community guidelines apply. In short: criticise offices and services as hard as you like — that's the point — but no hate or communal content, harassment, doxxing, sexual content, incitement, spam, or party campaigning. Petitions address government offices, never named individuals.
New posts are screened before publishing. If yours is removed, you're notified with the reason; you can contest a decision by writing to the grievance officer (below). Moderators may also remove published content that breaks the rules.
Your content
You own what you post. By posting, you give Voetle a non-exclusive licence to display it, include it in petition documents and share images, and quote it (e.g. top comments inside a petition PDF). Content becomes part of petitions others rely on — so once an issue advances to a petition, its text is locked.
Liability
Voetle is provided as-is, without warranties. User content reflects its authors, not Voetle. To the extent permitted by law, Voetle is not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the platform. These terms are governed by the laws of India; courts at Alwar, Rajasthan have jurisdiction.
