Ambedkar Circle to Bus Stand road
The stretch between Ambedkar Circle and the bus stand has been broken for eight months. Two-wheelers are skidding in the loose gravel every day and the potholes flood completely in rain. This is the main route to the district hospital — ambulances get stuck here.
I ride this stretch to work every morning. Last week my scooter slid in the gravel right outside the hospital gate and I tore my knee. Something has to change before the rains.
I work at the district hospital. On at least three occasions this month, ambulances slowed to a crawl on this road. In an emergency those lost minutes are the difference between life and death.
The contractor patched it last year with loose material that washed away in the first shower. We don't need another patch — we need it done properly with drainage this time.
